Meyerton RC Raceway On-Road Electric Classes

After a lot of debate, management from Meyerton RC Raceway have finally concluded the On-Road Electric Classes for 2012. These classes are for Meyerton RC Raceway and does not necessarily reflect the rules of other clubs and or RC Institutions.

Beginners Stock Class

  1. Any chassis  plastic or fiber
  2. Any tyres foam or rubber and the rim size not smaller or bigger than 50mm
  3. Any body as long as the tyres are totally covered
  4. Motor must be 540 fan motor revving 21000 rpm
  5. Any battery as long as the holder is not modified
  6. Any rtr out of the box


Stock Class

  1. Chassis plastic or fiber
  2. Tyres can be rubber or foam and the rim size  50mm
  3. Body four door touring to sarda spec
  4. Motors only 540 johnson and 21.5 brushless un tuned to sarda spec
  5. Batteries and gearing to sarda spec


Super Stock

  1. Will start at 17.5 turn  tuned  sensored
  2. 13.5 un-tuned sensor-less
  3. Foam or rubber tyres
  4. The rest is to sarda spec


Open Modified

  1. Any chassis
  2. Any motor,s brush or brushless
  3. Any speed control
  4. Any tyres
  5. Any car body
  6. Any batteries as long as the battery fits inside the origional battery holder


Mini Class

  1. Chassis must be mo3, mo4, mo5 or mo6
  2. Motors must be 540 silver can, two slot or black sport  tuned 540
  3. Brushless motor 14t sensor-less  esc 01 45038
  4. Any body that fits the mini chassis
  5. Any rubber or foam tyres as long as the rims ar 40mm
  6. Any oil shocks that fits the mini chassis
  7. All gearing should be to tamiya spec 2012

  1. Full SARDA specs


General

  1. Minimum of 5 entries in a race to justify a class of their own.
  2. Only the first two places receive medals.
  3. If less than five entries, the class will be added to another class, and in this case, only the winner will receive a medal.


Point will be made up as follow:

  1. Three qualifying rounds of which the two best will count
  2. Qualifier points will be worth 30% of the day’s total points scored
  3. Qualifiers rounds will be five minutes
  4. Mains will be two legs of five minutes each and the points scored will be worth 70%
  5. 1/12 scale mains will be 8 minutes
